The Town of Sharon is seeking qualified applicants for the full-time (37.5 hours/week: M-W 8:00 am - 5:00 pm; Th 8:00 am - 6:00 pm; F 8:00 am-12:30 pm) Office Manager/Transportation Coordinator position with the Council on Aging.

Responsibilities include handling administrative tasks for the daily operation of the Adult Center, coordinating the transportation program (medical appointments, shopping, trips, special occasions and Adult Center programs) and writing the monthly newsletter.

Requires excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to interact with senior participants, families, volunteers and staff with sensitivity, tact and discretion, attention to detail and outstanding computer and software skills.

Qualifications and Experience:
Associate’s Degree in Social Services, Human Services, Gerontology, Business Administration or some closely related field and five years of experience in human services and/or administrative work; or any equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

Starting Salary:
$59,450 with generous benefits, including health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, flexible spending accounts and retirement plans.
